    Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Organizational Development has the primary responsibility of creating an agency culture of lifelong learning while managing and supporting the assessment of organizational needs.  The Director of Organizational Development fosters the implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of team members, and is responsible for investigating, proposing and implementing learning tools and methodologies that will enhance the overall workforce. The Director is charged with overseeing the agency’s Professional Development Plan (PDP) initiative. This includes coaching management in full utilization of the PDP and conducting educational sessions throughout the workforce to ensure that all employees get a consistent message regarding their development and other cultural initiatives. Oversees the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation for all phases of VOA Leadership Development program.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, Master’s degree preferred. SHRM certification preferred. Prior experience in conducting employee training sessions is required and must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to create learning presentations. Ability to communicate clearly to a diverse workforce is essential.
