President JASMINE STEPP, M.S.Ed, MBTIIn her third year as a volunteer on the ATD KY Board of Directors, Jasmine is honored to continue leading the chapter as President in 2023. Jasmine leans into the ATD capability model, by focusing her leadership on collaboration, encouraging teamwork, and respectful relationships amongst the Board Directors and volunteers. Outside of ATD, she promotes Talent Development best practices as a Sr. Instructional Designer at CKE, where she partners with cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and evaluate Training, and Leadership Development Programs. She provides her organization with strategic talent development planning by identifying root causes to ensure that learning solutions make a measurable impact on their businesses. Jasmine's experience includes building innovative learning solutions from the ground up including designing, facilitating, and managing learning programs throughout the entire learning lifecycle. In her spare time you will find her traveling with her beautifully blended family of 7. |
Past-President Katie-Ryan fotiadisKatie Ryan is a double first name gal (last name is Fotiadis) who is passionate about healthy work cultures that deliver results! Her drive is to make a difference in the lives of others. An experienced Development & Learning Strategist, she pairs her creative & analytic talents to partner with clients to bring the very best design, development, and intentional solutions to all their learning needs. Katie Ryan utilizes innovative approaches as the vanguard for every project size. With a background in instructional design, eLearning, organizational effectiveness, facilitation, & data analysis, she provides quality results, performance improvement, & industry solutions. Katie Ryan Fotiadis holds her Master’s degree from the University of Louisville’s school of Organizational Leadership & Learning, she earned her Adobe Captivate Specialist certification for eLearning, and is certified in nonprofit management & leadership. Katie Ryan contributes to the learning and development community through her service as Past President at the Association for Talent Development Kentuckiana and contributes to the larger community through her work as a Birth Photographer & Videographer. In her downtime, you can find Katie Ryan practicing meditation, dancing in the kitchen to a variety of music, laughing at her own thoughts, & delighting in cooking delicious— but nutritious— meals for her family. Nedim SlijepcevicNedim Slijecpevic is an assistant professor of Instructional Design at the Institute for Creative and Collaborative Arts and an Interim Director of the Instructional Design Center at Eastern Kentucky University. Nedim grew up in Bosnia and Herzegovina and immigrated to the United States at 24, where he studied Computer Information Systems at Buffalo State University. He started working at EKU in 2006, and during that time, he completed his doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Kentucky. Nedim’s past experiences include language interpretation for NATO peacekeeping mission, instructional design, and faculty professional development manager. His passions are family, nature, teaching, training, learning development, photography, and traveling. |
