**********************************************************************

Recognition and rewards are powerful drivers of behavior and fundamental human needs that shape our decisions.  In today’s workplace, talent development and retention require competitive organizations to offer incentives above and beyond standard benefits. Employee recognition and rewards programs are a solution that enhances employee motivation, satisfaction and productivity to improve organizational performance.

The LADDER Program team will share knowledge of recognition and rewards best practices gained through analyzing research, surveying employees, conducting focus groups and observing user behavior. The presentation will explore design, architecture and implementation of Humana’s system through the experiences and responsibilities of each team member. Finally, LADDER Program metrics and results from the first year after launch will be reviewed to illustrate the organizational impact and value.

About LADDER:

The LADDER program provides a solution that allows learning professionals across the organization to independently develop recognition and reward incentives around their content and objectives. The program empowers learning groups to create valuable badges using materials they already have access to and to offer rewards for completion. Likewise, our platform connects learning resources from across diverse systems within a single user interface. LADDER encourages instructional designers to develop their materials in a modular format so different pieces can be grouped together to achieve a more intuitive and impactful experience. Finally, our platform delivers automated emails to learners and their leaders that give visibility into their progress and accomplishments.
