"I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees." This quote, by Henry David Thoreau, is the perfect way for you to meet Jennifer Story! The great outdoors, with her friends and family, is her favorite place to be other than work, of course! If you are asking yourself what the woods have to do with Jennifer, that is a great question. She has a natural ability to help others grow taller than the trees and that is exactly what she has been doing for over 17 years. In 2006, she discovered her purpose when she began teaching Respiratory Therapy. As she helped others grow, she was growing as well. By 2010, she was the Clinical Coordinator at Sullivan University where she received the KACCS Instructor of the Year award as well as the Faculty Mentor Award at Spencerian College. In 2021, two amazing things happened for her, she earned her APTD certification and she accepted a position at Farm Credit Mid-America as a Learning Program Manager. While it was a big transition to move from higher education to the corporate world, her impact continues by helping others grow taller, but in a different landscape. She is very excited to have the opportunity to lead the upcoming ATDKY session and looks forward to learning with you!
