Improv(e) It: The Power of Improv in Training and Coaching

Improv is a powerful tool that can be used in a myriad of ways to help train teams and coach individuals. Kate will share some of her best Improv exercises and approaches that you can apply to your work in designing or leading training and coaching.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will learn:

  • The fundamentals of Improv
  • Improv exercises that can be included in team-building, facilitation, and coaching
  • Public speaking and communication tips in program design and delivery
Kate Bringardner

About Kate:

Kate Bringardner opened The Speaker’s Studio 3 years ago after working for 7 years as a Voice, Speech and Movement Coach based in Louisville, KY. 

Kate’s training includes The American Academy of Dramatic Art, NY NY and The Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh PA. 

Kate received her BA in Communications and her MFA in Performance from The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago IL. 

Her work a coach and trainer has taken her back to New York and Pittsburgh as well to San Francisco and Minnesota. 

Clients include Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Honda Engage, Amazon, Brown-Forman, (including Jack Daniels and Woodford Reserve), Humana and YMCA of the USA. 

She continues to audition and perform as her schedule allows!
