    Position Summary

    Supports Employee Experience team members and other stakeholders in the development and delivery of in-person learning opportunities, virtual instructor-led training, e-learning, and related online learning initiatives Coordinates classes and eLearning content, including speakers, classrooms, scheduling, setup and configuration of virtual platforms, survey development, editing and publishing of content into Learning Management System.  Designs and develops multimedia, e-learning, and related assets to enhance user experience and improve the learning experience of employees. Demonstrates a high level of customer support and learning agility to ensure organizational effectiveness and enhance employee experience. Work from home eligible; must live in KY, IN, or IL.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Coordinates virtual class setup, including generating webinar and virtual classroom links, producing virtual Instructor Led Training sessions via virtual training platforms, editing and publishing virtual classroom recordings, and publishing content to the Learning Management System.
    • Designs and develops multimedia, e-learning, and related assets, including branching simulations, video, audio, graphics, animations, etc.
    • Maintains and updates Talent Development Hub SharePoint page with current classes, webinars, and other learning resources.
    • Support daily activities related to the learning management system including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and overall course maintenance.
    • Develops surveys to gather participant feedback, measure effectiveness of all training activities, facilitate the continuous improvement of programs, and identify further individual and team needs.
    • Provides first-line customer support and troubleshooting technical assistance for employees, responding to queries in a timely manner and following up as necessary to resolve any issues.
    • Assists in evaluation, testing, and training of new software releases and organizational systems.
    • Maintains proficiency with e-learning authoring and multimedia development tools and technologies.
    • Coordinates all aspects of in-person training sessions and program, including reserving rooms, coordinating food & beverage, coordinating with IT for AV support, printing of materials, communication with attendees, and coordination of classroom set-up. May assist with coordination of hotel rooms and group transportation as needed for out of town participants.
    • Provides administrative/coordination support on ad hoc or special projects as assigned.

    Education

    BA/BS Degree in HR, Leadership Development, Instructional Design or a related field

    Experience

    • 1 or more years of documented, formalized experience in instructional design and learning technologies
    • Experience designing and developing multimedia and e-learning content using graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), e-learning authoring software (e.g. Articulate, Lectora), video editing software (e.g. Camtasia, Adobe Premiere), and related applications
    • Experience working with virtual and in-person training platforms and training materials (e.g., Zoom)
    • Experience working with a Learning Management System (e.g., Saba)
    • Experience with SharePoint a plus.
    • Training experience in healthcare setting preferred

    Knowledge/Skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Proficient in learning authoring and multimedia software (e.g., Articulate, Lectora, Camtasia)
    • Basic knowledge of needs analysis/assessment and course evaluation
    • Basic knowledge of adult learning and instructional design theory, principles, and best practices
    • Basic knowledge of Learning Management Systems (e.g. Saba)
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including proven effective and engaging presentation skills
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once
    • Excellent communication skills (written, virtual and in person) with the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn technical processes and apply them quickly.
    • Highly flexible and able to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team setting, while managing competing priorities.
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once.
    • Proven ability to analyze, interpret and take action on program reports and metrics.
    • A record of generating ideas, proposing and implementing creative solutions and showing results.
