Position Title: Talent Development Officer

Reports To: Chief Culture & People Development Officer
POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: This role will help drive strategic culture and talent objectives for the organization, including inclusion & diversity, leadership development, talent review process, engagement, mentorship, communications and volunteerism.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree, preferably in psychology, communications, human resources or related field required; Master degree preferred. Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in talent development and culture – learning, internal communications, leadership development, engagement, etc. required. Experience communicating successfully across levels of an organization and ability to see connections between the workplace, marketplace, and community the bank serves. Previous banking experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assess individual, team and organizational development needs, and develop/recommend solutions. Facilitate learning sessions for various departments and levels of the organization, especially on management, leadership and career topics. Research and prepare communications and learning materials for delivery via various media (written SharePoint articles, PowerPoint presentations, WebEx, etc.). Oversee introduction and ongoing coordination of various talent-related initiatives: mentoring circles, job shadows, etc. Identify needs and collaborate with others to drive various inclusion & diversity efforts. Support engagement survey process and action planning. Support/facilitate group talent discussions, including development action planning. Willing perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Travel between Republic Banking facilities is required. Occasional out-of-town travel is required.
