    Amount of Travel Required:  Less than 5%

    Reports To:  Training Video Manager/Graphic Designer

    Work Schedule:  General business hours Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30


    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The E-learning Designer/Graphic Designer is a creative and dynamic individual responsible for designing instructionally sound e-learning courses and additional training tools by hand or using computer software that are visually stimulating, easy to understand, and coincide with Texas Roadhouse culture.

    ·       Design and develop interactive e-learning courses that are fun, engaging, and coincide with company culture for Texas Roadhouse and all concepts

    ·       Assist in the design and development of multi-media assets including image manipulation, animation, audio, and video for e-learning courses or other training tools

    ·       Design training tools for print, presentations, or on screen viewing that are easy to understand, fun, engaging, and coincide with company culture for Texas Roadhouse and all concepts

    ·      Copyedit, review proofs and work with the training team to ensure 100% accuracy and quality of all produced materials

    ·       Work with internal subject matter experts in the Support Center and in the Field

    ·       Understand the audience for each design project

    ·       Photograph images as necessary for e-learning and instructional design

    ·       Maintain, update, and improve existing designs

    ·       Create designs for special projects as needed

    ·       Participate in content development with creative input

    ·      Establish an understanding of restaurant needs, build and maintain relationships with operators to provide legendary service and departmental support with every contact or specific project as needed including design, messaging and overall branding of training material

    ·       Meet project deadlines

    ·      In accordance with established company and department approved systems, maintain a regimen of saving documents, backing up files and hard drives as well as keeping a tight and accurate filing system of all electronic documents for safe storage and quick, easy retrieval

    Education: Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in eLearning Design/Graphic Design/Instructional Design required.


    • Minimum 1-year e-Learning course design experience
    • Minimum 1-year graphic design experience
    • Texas Roadhouse Operations experience is beneficial

    Computer Skills:

    • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia Studio, or similar software required
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator required
    • Understanding of multi-platform development (cross-browser, cross-platform)
    • Understanding of SCORM and content deployment on a Learning Management System
    • Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel preferred
