Integrity of Online Learning

One of Hillary Clinton’s calls during her campaign was “Bringing integrity to online education.”  By 2020, the projection that 50% of all United States’ education will be online. Many corporates are opening their universities for their employees. Many organizations require certifications that are supported by proctored assessment.    


Presenter:

Dr. Salah Shakir

Dr. Shakir is the CEO and founder of Xproctor Corp, innovative method for proctoring and authenticating system for online education. He brings over 25 years of experience in Information Technology and business administration. He holds a Diploma in Educational Management from Harvard University, a Doctorate of Business Administration (NCU), and obtained a Master in Learning and Technology (WGU), and two Bachelors in Computer Science and Advanced Technical Studies from Southern Illinois University. He has a verifiable track record in increasing performance through dynamic leadership, strategic planning, technology innovation and change management. He is State examiner for Malcolm Baldrige Quality Program. He held many positions as Chief Information Officer, Dean, Vice President at various higher education institution

His lectures about international and Middle East politics have been described as “true eye-opening experiences.”  The local television and radio stations frequently have Dr. Shakir as their guest speaker.  He has great experience in international business where he worked and traveled to Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Shakir has collaborated with leaders of fortune 500 companies such as General Dynamics and Maytag.  As a forerunner in technology, he developed the first Associates of Applied Science degree in the United States specializing in wireless and cellular technologies. Ale, he created the first ERP system for one of the nation’s fastest growing colleges. Two years ago, he designed and developed an innovative system to enforce the principle of accreditation for online education in United States.
