Bringing Creativity Back into Learning: Delivering Training Even You Will Want to Attend

Need an injection of creativity into your learning programs?  Having a hard time proving the business impact of your programming?  In this session, get tips and tricks to infuse creativity into your design and development processes – to create learning that will engage even your toughest learners.  Learn to think like an innovator and move from just a ‘good idea’ to a ‘great implementation’ that will WOW your leadership team.

- Employ a toolkit of techniques to make learning more engaging and results oriented

Mary McNevin                                                              
Chief People Officer
 

In 2012, Mary joined Signature HealthCARE, LLC as its Chief Learning Officer. With decades of learning and development experience – including overseeing international programs – Mary grew Signature’s Learning pillar into an ATD Best Award-winning team within 2 years. She holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, a Master of Science degree in Education, and a doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. More recently, Mary was promoted to Chief People Officer at Signature where she now oversees Human Resources as well as Learning.

Mary is especially proud of her CNA certification and is passionate about making an impact in the healthcare space.  She credits her mother, who was a CNA for many years, with instilling in her the determination to make a difference!  Mary believes in the transformative power of learning, and is relentless in her pursuits to provide growth opportunities for others.



Nicole Carter                                                            
Vice President of Learning and Development

Nicole joined the Signature HealthCARE Learning team in 2011. In her most recent role, she oversees the company’s Communities of Practice team and helps lead its internal staffing agency known as FlexPATH.  Nicole has a strong interest in learning and education both inside and outside the workplace. She is serving as Chair of the 2017 ATD International Conference & Exposition Program Advisory Committee.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Nicole moved to Kentucky in 2000 to attend Western Kentucky University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree.



Victoria Alexander-Carney                                   
Senior Director of Learning Solutions

Victoria joined the Signature family in 2014 after successfully helping a locally-grown business become a nationally recognized leader in developing online programs for colleges and universities. She uses her nearly 20 years of learning and development experience to lead a diverse team of professionals that manage the organization’s academic partnerships, career development pathways, instructional technology, motion graphics and videography.

Victoria earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Louisville and her M.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
